Hi Rebecca
I live on Vancouver Island and can assure you Fulltime RVing is popular here.Generally the weather is ok to spend the winter and there are lots of times when it can be very inviting to get out and about.
Many private campgrounds are open all winter. They usually run about $500/month for people staying in the offseason. Some BC campgrounds are open all year but don't offer any hookups.
I don't dare say too much more as this is information which many islanders try to keep hushed up(If everybody knew about this we"d be overrun in no time...).
BTW I live in a stick house but will soon go fulltime myself.

I'm glad to see you made it here and thay you've had a chance to find some great campgrounds. We looked at Living Forest but we're more inclined towards the Parksville area.I checked out Lake of the Woods as they have sites for sale. They are really friendly there and have many activities and gettogethers. The lake is a very popular spot and a good place to walk your dog.We also have a german shepherd. She's four years old and travels with me all day when I work.I notice there are more than a hundred visitors to your question about full time RVing in BC now you can tell them the answer is yes!
