Thank you very much. I homeschool already. So that will stay the same. I do plan on staying in this area, at least for now. I have a part time job and attend school here and my husband works at petco part time giving us diacounts on dog stuff, so traveling wont realy be an option, at least for a while.
ning stove that can be transported
I found an old RV I paid $800 and it needs cleaning and fixings. Its small but I think we can manage. If we can winter it up as its not 4 seasons and then make it look nicer on the inside as well I think it will do for this year and then on to bigger later after money has been saved. The table area is coming down to make crate area for the dogs. The bunk area will give us a place to lay out for sleep or reading or what ever. I will carpet the floor and at night can even lay out a sleeping pad to make extra bedding. I want to get an outdoor wood burning stove that can be transported by the back of the truck and be able to sit around it on cold days, wrapped in blankets.
I used to have a rabbitry and even though this is not rabbits, its still living things and keeping places warm in the winter cheaply is what I have gotten good at. So Im going to skirt the trailer, make a small cage to put around a heater that will stay under the trailer to keep things from freezing. The all wire cage will prevent it from tipping over. also, some heat will go through the floor and help warm us in the trailer. I am also going to wrap all things under to also help freezing prevention. It has a rather large heater in it for the space and plan to buy or make a cage that will go around it and attatch to the wall to prevent burning.
I am going to get 2 plastic tubs and store the dog food in it out side the door to save room inside. These tubs are great, they keep all the food dry no matter what and in the summer, as long as its in the sun, it will kill any bugs that try to get in it with the heat and in the winter, its just to cold for those things to live.
